For our NFT project, we wanted to create a story to give NFT’s a bit more flavor and spice things up. This also allows you to connect with your NFT.

At first, there was Harambe. Despite everyone’s love for this magnificent creature, its life came to an end in a rather brutal way. What only a few people knew is that Harambe had fathered seven young gorillas. His offspring showed heightened brain activity and delivered excellent results in different fields. After a few decades, they began to learn what had happened to their father. They were disgusted with the event and decided to leave the world as they knew it and seek purpose elsewhere for themselves and their band.

The band flourished under the leadership of the offspring. They adapted to their environment and established growing communities. A serious dispute erupted between the seven brothers about who had the right to rule them all if the oldest died. The band was torn apart, driven by greed and lust for power; each brother took his most loyal followers and set off to forge their legacy. Thousands of years later, the seven bands have evolved into big, thriving clans. The current leaders, called Silverbacks, all claim to be the last descendant of Harambe.

Two hundred years ago, a scroll was found, written by the last surviving offspring of Harambe; it told the tale of a crown worn by the Supreme Silverback, the leader of the seven. When they were still one band, the XRILLAZ thrived and lived in peace and harmony. Now there was only disarray, chaos, and bloodshed. This could be resolved if the true descendant from the Harambe bloodline finds the crown and restores peace upon the XRILLAZ.

The XRILLAZ have been divided into seven distinct clans. XRILLA will reveal the stories behind each clan over a period of 7 weeks on our social networks, Discord, and website. Be sure not to miss the announcement of your future favorite clan.

There are 7,777 unique NFTs in the XRILLAZ project. Within those, there are five kinds of rarities. A list of the 5 different rarities and their distribution can be found below. To calculate the number of NFTs each clan will receive of each rarity, divide the following number by 7. A random distribution will take place at minting.

After XRP Labs completes setting up the NFT infrastructure in XRP, we will work 24 hours a day to get the NFTs minted. With the XRLZ generator already working for the base model, we are in a very comfortable position on the design side. There are several attributes already designed, so adding them to the generator won't be difficult. Additionally, we are working on several projects behind the scenes with other big players in this regard, but it is still too early to divulge more information on this at this time.

Part of the NFT's are custom-made, due to the unique nature of our project. In order to properly distinguish between the rarities, the Silverback and Legendary XRILLAZ have been custom designed. From the base model, the common, uncommon, and rare are randomly generated. For each clan, 30 unique attributes will be randomly generated.

The KYC process was required by XUMM. As such, KYC is now in place.

The XRPL does not support NFTs as stated in their Github: Requires an amendment to the XRP Ledger protocol, which increases complexity and increases the amount of data that must be tracked and maintained. In order to read, display, and transact with NFTs, new implementation code is needed in client libraries and wallets. Therefore, we are in the process of reaching out to XRPL Labs in order to get this done as smoothly and efficiently as we can. The new series will likely be sold on a future marketplace that will accept XRP, a new token, or the XRLZ token. We are still considering whether to do a burning mechanism or keep the token as a transactional measure. Future votes will likely be taken by the community.

In conjunction with XRILLAZ's storyline, we want to create an environment in which NFT holders from different clans can duel to acquire rewards. However, it's far too early to predict how exactly this will look. However, the idea is there, and we will do whatever it takes to make it happen!
